2023 Senior Olympics

The YMCA Senior Olympics, presented by the YMCA of Greater Toledo in partnership with the Area Office on Aging of Northwest Ohio, Inc. This event is open to all YMCA and community members ages 60 and up, and will give participants the opportunity to showcase their skill and athleticism in various sports, games, and activities.

Show off your skills

Participants wishing to compete in an event will be required to register through the online link or in person at any one of our ten (10) branch locations.  A registration fee of $10.00 is due at the time of registration.  

Team Registration

When registering for a team event, the entire team will register under one registration and it will include the team name, all players’ names, and t-shirt sizes.  Registration fee is due at the time of registration.  

Registration includes:

  • Registration for one (1) event 
  • One (1) event logo t-shirt*
  • Water
  • Snacks
  • Boxed lunch*

*A limited number of t-shirts will be available to registrations after September 1st.

*Boxed lunch includes a sandwich, fruit, and water

Pickleball & Corn Hole Team Registration

Teammates will register together, rather than as individuals.  During registration, the team will be asked for their team name, participant names, birth dates, and t-shirt size.  The full registration fee of $20 will be due at the time of registration. 

Rules and Regulations

Olympic Events

50 Yard Backstroke is an individual participant event.  Age group is determined by the participants age at the time of the event.  The lowest time in each division/age group will receive a medal. 

50 Yard Freestyle is an individual participant event.  Age group is determined by the participant’s age at the time of the event.  The lowest time in each division/age group will receive a medal. 

Pickleball teams consist of two (2) players.  Level of play includes Beginner 2.5-3.0 and Intermediate 3.0-3.5.  Teams cannot consist of a woman and man.  Level of play is on the honor system.  The top three (3) teams in each level of play/division will receive medals, with the first place team receiving a medal and 1st place prize.

Music trivia teams consist of four (4) players.  Teams will be assigned according to registration.  

Corn Hole teams consist of two (2) players.  Teams can consist of two (2) women, two (2) men or one (1) woman and one (1) man.  The top three (3) teams will receive a medal.

Euchre teams consist of two (2) players, who will switch partners at the end of each game

Free Throw is an individual participant event.  The age group is determined by the participant’s age at the time of the event.  The most baskets made in each division/age group will receive a medal.
