Emergencies can happen anytime. Are you prepared? Our certified courses provide you with the critical training that you need for an emergency. At the Y, we support and encourage safe and effective programming by making available a wide variety of YMCA and national certifications and training opportunities for professionals working to help people live healthier lives.
Babysitters Training Online Certification
This online course is for youth ages 11 and older and will prepare students to be better babysitters.
Topics include:
-how to provide care for infants and children
-how to stay safe
-what to do in an emergency
-how to choose age-appropriate activities
– how to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors.
Students will also learn the basics of starting a babysitting business. The course consists of six interactive modules featuring video, activities, games and tools babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills and manage their babysitting business. This course, which includes a final exam at the end, takes about 4 hours to complete. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a printable certificate.

Re-Certification for Basic Life Support (CPR & AED), Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen Administration. This class is for individuals whose current certifications will be expiring soon. During class you will review in each area, take the required written test and demonstrate your skills for the instructor.
